Supported Living Services (SLS)

Now available

Individualized, in-home support that helps adults with developmental disabilities live safely and successfully in a home of their own — not in a group home or institution.

What is Supported Living Services?

Supported Living Services (SLS) are individualized supports that help adults with developmental disabilities live safely and successfully in their own homes — in an apartment, a house, or wherever they choose to call home.
At Liberty Life Skills, we design every SLS plan around the person: their lifestyle, their strengths, and their preferences. Whether the goal is to move into a first apartment, build daily living skills, or simply maintain long-term stability, we're here to make it possible.
Liberty Life Skills is a vendorized SLS provider with San Andreas Regional Center (Santa Clara County) and Regional Center of the East Bay (Alameda & Contra Costa counties).

Our SLS support includes

Finding & maintaining a home — housing search assistance, budgeting, and setting up a safe living environment.

Daily living support — cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and home management.

Health & safety — medication reminders, appointment scheduling, and emergency planning.

Financial management — budgeting, bill paying, and handling daily expenses responsibly.

Community inclusion — recreation, volunteering, and social connection.

Skill building — time management, communication, and problem-solving.

Common questions

SLS, explained simply

Adults with developmental disabilities who want to live in their own home in the community, with the level of one-on-one support that fits their needs.

Every plan is different — some individuals need a few hours of support a week, others need more consistent, daily support. We build the plan around the person, not the other way around.

Most clients are referred through their regional center service coordinator. You can also contact us directly and we’ll help guide you through the process.
