What is Independent Living Services?
Independent Living Services (ILS) help adults with developmental disabilities build the specific, practical skills they need to live more independently — whether that means living fully on their own someday or simply gaining more confidence and autonomy in daily life.
Unlike Supported Living Services, ILS is skill-focused and often time-limited, working toward measurable independence goals set together with the individual and their support team.

SLS provides ongoing, individualized support for someone living in their own home. ILS is more skill-focused and often time-limited, working toward specific independence goals.
It varies by individual and goals — some people work with us for a defined period to build specific skills, while others continue longer-term. We’ll talk through what makes sense for your situation.
